Ricco di storia e di bellezze naturali, non a caso un tempo definito la Svizzera del Medioriente, ha grandi potenzialità di sviluppo, in particolare nel campo turistico, ma è ahimè tormentato dagli effetti della sanguinosa guerra civile e dall’instabilità politica dovuta alla rivalità tra i tre gruppi che lo governano, i Cristiano Maroniti, i Mussulmani e Hezbollah.
Speriamo in un futuro prossimo che si riesca ad accantonare i vecchi rancori, e tutti uniti perseguire la rinascita di uno dei paesi simbolo del Medio Oriente.
Rich in history and natural beauties, once defined as the Switzerland of the Middle East, it has great development potential, particularly in the tourism sector, but is unfortunately tormented by the effects of the bloody civil war and political instability due to rivalry between the three groups at the government, the Maronite Christians, the Muslims and Hezbollah.
We hope in the near future that they will be able to put aside old grudges and all together pursue the rebirth of one of the symbolic countries of the Middle East.
